Commissioning

& Startup

Getting Your Facility Online,

Safer and Faster

Our experienced personnel manage the transition from construction to operation with a disciplined, field-driven approach. From pre-commissioning through startup, systems are checked, tested, and brought online safely so there are no surprises when it matters most.

Our commissioning and startup teams support gas processing and treating facilities, compressor stations, and related midstream systems through the full handoff to operations.

Commissioning & Startup

Our Philosophy

Before mechanical completion, we develop a comprehensive commissioning plan and mobilize our commissioning team to support mechanical, process, and electrical system progress. Field scope can include P&ID walkdowns and redlines, cause and effect reviews, pre-startup safety reviews, purging and dryout, loop checks, instrument calibration, and other startup-critical tasks.

By working closely with construction and operations personnel, we help ensure systems are completed in the proper sequence for startup, commissioning, and ultimately achieving performance testing requirements.

Keep Your Operation Running

If you need reliable support in the field or help covering critical roles, we’re ready to step in.
Let’s discuss how we can support your next project.

Midstream Operators

The Most Important Phase of the Project

This is where projects either come together or start to slip. Commissioning and startup are the final steps before a facility goes live, and they carry more risk than any other phase.

Delays, miscommunication, and missed details tend to show up here. Crews are under pressure, timelines are tight, and systems are being energized for the first time.

We step in to bring structure to that process. Our team works alongside contractors and operators to make sure systems are fully verified, properly tested, and ready to perform safely.

Commissioning Scope at a Glance

  • Three-phase support across pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup.
  • Field scope ranging from P&ID walkdowns and punch-list development to loop checks and instrument calibration.
  • Coordination with construction contractors, engineering firms, vendors, and operations personnel through facility handoff.
  • Support through startup sequencing and performance testing.

A Structured Approach in the Field

We follow a clear, step-by-step process to keep work organized and reduce risk during startup.

Plan the Work

Review drawings, scope, and system readiness before stepping into the field

Confirm equipment and systems are installed correctly and ready for testing

Validate controls, instrumentation, and functionality across systems

Execute startup in a controlled, coordinated sequence

Ensure everything is operating as intended before handoff

Experience That Shows Up on Site

Our team has hands-on experience supporting commissioning and startup across a range of midstream environments. We understand how projects actually unfold in the field and how to work alongside the crews responsible for getting them across the finish line.

We integrate with existing teams, communicate clearly, and stay focused on getting systems online without creating additional delays.

What You Can Expect

Organized startup execution

Clear communication across teams

Strong focus on safety

Attention to detail in testing and verification
